AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR / END GAME
Responsible for modeling Ebony Maw from rough concept. Concept and initial head sculpt by Ryan Meinerding. Modeled back based on front design for approval. Produced maquette for 3D print. VFX lighting reference maquette by Legacy Effects & team.
Responsible for modeling all hard surface armor, and hair for full 3D print set-up & engineering. Base sculpt and weapon provided.
I was assigned lead character artist on this project. That meant I was responsible for over-seeing the production of Ebony Maw, Proxima Midnight, Black Dwarf. Ebony Maw was the first and only character I modeled from scratch with the exception of his head. The head and front 2d concept were provided by Ryan Meinerding. Once approved, I assigned a team of artist various parts to model; overseeing the process to make sure the continuity and art direction matched the concepts provided. Base sculpts and weapons for Proxima Midnight and Black Dwarf were provided. All aspects produced by Legacy Effects & team.
